Andrew Tool uses CAMplete TruePath for advanced post processing and machine simulation for their Yasda 5-axis machines through Methods Machine Tools.
One particular part required them to access a feature that was not accessible without using a right angled tool holder. Right angled tool holders are an expensive accessory to a machine tool and require accurate g-code and machine simulation. Adding this support to their current CAM software solution would be both costly and time consuming. |
